Bio:

Introduced to the marine industry and boating at a young age. Born and Raised on the gulf islands in the west coast of British Columbia, Canada. My childhood was spent on the water, where I quickly learned to drive boats. With a commercial fisherman for a father, turning wrenches and working on boats was a normal weekend. He insured that boating safety, anchoring, fishing, proper knots, and general deck knowledge were instilled at a young age. I started working at local marinas on the dock and part time as a mate running salmon charters. Due to a 10 year career in the Feature film industry, It became common taking famous movie stars, producers, and directors fishing. From age 26 to 29 I lived in Playa del Carmen Mexico. Running day charters, offering corporate cruises, fishing trips, dinner & lunch cruises, snorkeling and scuba tours, whale shark experiences, & all day water sports and raft ups. At age 29 I moved to Ft. Lauderdale and began my career in yachting. As a captain my Cruising experienced extensively covers everything between New England & the Caribbean, on both private yachts, to heavy use charter vessels. I have worked for multiple vessels in the beginning stages of new ownership, involving minor to major refits, with job list's ranging from AV upgrades to a complete refit. In the past seven years I have created and built successful charter programs from scratch helping to offset operating costs. Whatever the challenge may be, I always look forward to the task at hand.
